	You Better believe it Paul !! AVG is Excellent ...but Windows Defender comes straight from the OS Matrix and runs quietly in the background untill you need it . P.S. Don't forget to Use "C-Cleaner" with AVG, the Three programs together keep your PC virtually Virus Free

	To be honest had it since beta and never seen it pick anything up. Spybot a better program and also free.

	you dont see get a cleaner like ccleaner , advanced system , it will even show u how spybot has been spying on u, yes is doesnt jump around its stealth

	I think Windows Defender is a nice debbuging tool. It's main purpose to protect your PC from threats works just fine, it's spyware removal works as well, and it has a lot of side tools. Even if it doesn't take any action against a modification to your system, the entries it register at the event logs are incredible for troubleshooting. Additionally, the integrated proccess explorer tool is a helping hand on finding those malicious applications.
