The Best Spyware Programme for Windows Users

At least four different pieces of malware got through. I do not rate it very highly.

seriously, MS security solutions suck big time and third-party applications are way better most of the time.

for people who are into freebies, try this security setup of free security softwares and stuff:

basic protection:
1. router (with configured firewall)
or
a third-party software firewall (Comodo, ZA, PC Tools etc.)
2. antivirus (avast!, Avira, AVG etc.)
3. antispyware (spybotsd, spywareblaster etc.)

stealth up:
4. Returnil (free and limited) - system virtual layer protection that works like DeepFreeze.
- protection can be scheduled and configuration can restricted with a password.
- turning it on and off requires a system reboot.
- disable it if you are doing important documents, downloading files or updating your OS or programs, otherwise the documents
and updates done will be discarded on the next system boot.
- turn it on if you don't want any harmful changes in your PC like if you will just casually surf the web and visit unfamiliar
sites or test-install unfamiliar softwares.

5. Sandboxie (free and limited) - program virtual layer protection
- your default internet browser is automatically 'sanboxed'
- a program can be 'sanboxed' manually by launching it via the Sandboxie control
- files can be recovered and discarded automatically or manually

worry free:
6. OPENDns (free) - allows for customizing (restricting or allowing) access to online websites. to prevent kids or anyone from
being exposed to adult, malicious and violent sites.
7. MVPS.org host file (free) - provides a first layer protection against malicious sites and may speeds up web surfing on many
sites.

if you guys have more than enough cash, paying for reliable a software security suite (like ZA, Comodo, Threatfire, DeepFreeze, PC
Tools etc.) is recommended and may save you time and resources of installing and configuring different security softwares in your
computer.

i have always used Windows Defender . Now for some reason it is being ubinstalled and prevented from reinstalling by "XP
SecurityCenter". before being uninstalled Windows Defender ,identified "TrojanDownloader:Win32Renos" as part of the problem. Up
until nowWindows Defender has never failed me.
As for "XP SecurityCenter"it SUX. anyone have any ideas,SURE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRCIATED.

this is not so well as two viruses from internet still come in my pc. and nothing really working in this windows defender as of
window one care.
do something good in this software and make it more user friendly too.

I TOTTALY AGREE ABOUT WINDOWS ONE CARE, OR ANYWAY I FEEL IT IS A PICE OF.....
ANYWAY,WINDOWS ONE CARE ate my dell computer and i was never compensated.
Now XP SECURITY CENTER is picking up where ONE CARE left off. All this is supposed to be from Microsoft themselves. This only
leads me to believe that Microsoft has been compromised?????

If you don't see any use in it, you don't understand its purposes. You have lots of use of this program

I personally have not seen anything of good value by using this program
I would quite easily uninstall it
